Any good SEO must firstly, be able to adapt and evolve. Secondly, you must spend an enormous amount of time researching and testing the newest updates of Google’s 500 plus algorithms, in order to stay number one for competitive keywords.
Not everyone knows that Albert Eisenstein was actually a professor at Princeton University and one year while he was telling his pupils to study hard for the up coming exam one student shouted out, “Why, when we heard that all the questions were going to be the same as last year?” Eisenstein replied, “Yes, this is true but this year the answers will be different”
And this is the same story with SEO; After 7 years of doing Search Engine Optimization professionally, I found that the answers have also changed year after year. In fact, Matt Cutts, chief engineer of Google’s webspam team declares around 500 algorithmic changes each year. Just this August 17 2010, Google continues to roll out and implement new algorithms from the Google Caffeine Update, a process that started just this June 8th 2010. Many SEOs scrambled to try to understand the new algorithms that would reward long tail keyword optimization. This is an SEO technique that I have been teaching for over 4 years now and I’m happy to see Google now endorsing the strategy as White Hat.
